In order to address properly the identified common problems and needs, the project proposes an integrated CB strategy that combines both infrastructural and “soft” interventions. Alongside with the renovation of the 8 cultural and touristic sites (including their environment and infrastructure), the project aims at adjusting the local cultural sites to the common needs of the target groups, especially visitors and tourists. Our aim is the establishment of a branded and well promoted CB Route of Country Houses based on a survey on buildings of cultural heritage in HU and UA to form the bases of cross border thematic route. We plan and implementing joint promotion activities and information provision for CB Route of Country Houses and for 7 cultural and touristic events organized on both side of the border (Guidebook, brochures, leaflets, touristic website, maps, joint project webpage, signs, etc.). We organize joint cultural and touristic events with CB added value linked to cultural heritage site restored with participation of mixed groups of visitors from HU and UA.
We support of traditional local handicraft products by participation at cultural and touristic events, exhibited at country houses to foster local economic effects. Our project will contribute to the increase of the number of visitors in the region, to the increase of number of cross-border cultural and touristic events organized and touristic development using ENI support and to the increase of the number of improved cultural and historical touristic sites as a direct consequence of programme support.
