13 November 2022 - A series of JCulture excursions to remarkable places of historical and cultural Jewish heritage in Ivano-Frankivsk has come to an end

The series of 10 excursions to remarkable places of historical and cultural Jewish heritage of Ivano-Frankivsk "Jews of Stanislavov. Who are they? About life, customs and their mark in the history of the city" has come to an end. 

The project "Research and preservation of Jewish cultural heritage in the border area" (JCulture) aims to increase competitiveness on the border of the European Union in the area of ​​the cities of Ivano-Frankivsk and Sighet on the principles of cooperation and good neighborliness through joint tourism capitalization of multicultural heritage, discovery, preservation and promotion of Jewish heritage as an important part of local history. The project involves repair of Synagogue's drainage system, installation of lighting, 10 memorial plaques, and creation of a "Jewish" tourist route.
